Lists

Dashboard

The List Dashboard provides a simple and intuitive overview of the email lists currently active in your Pepo Campaigns account. The dashboard view offers top level performance indicators of the lists, among the figures:

A) Count of Subscribed Contacts in the List

This is the total number of contacts that are currently subscribed and therefore eligible to receive email campaigns. This figure may differ for the total number of contacts in the list due to statuses like unsubscribed, hard-bounced, complained and blacklisted which are not included in the subscribed contacts count.

B) Average Open Rate of the List

The email open rate is a performance indicator of how many recipients have viewed by opening the email messages sent out via campaigns. It is calculated by dividing the number of unique email messages opened by the total number of email messages delivered.

The number of email delivered correspond to the number of email sent minus the number of emails that are soft or hard-bounced.In the List Dashboard case, the average unique open rate over time of the each list is displayed.

If email campaigns are sent to a segment of a list, the performance average is not taken into consideration in the value on the main dashboard, but in the Segment dashboard within the list view.

C) Average Click-Through Rate of the List

The email Click-Through rate is a performance indicator of the number of recipients who click one or more links in an email sent out via campaigns and landed on the sender’s website, blog, or other desired destination. More simply, email click-through rates represent the number of unique clicks that your email generated.

Email click-through rate is expressed as a percentage, and calculated by dividing the number of click throughs by the number of tracked message opens. In the List Dashboard case, the average click-through rate over time of the each list is displayed.

If email campaigns are sent to a segment of a list, the performance average is not taken into consideration in the value on the main dashboard, but in the Segment dashboard within the list view.

By ticking the checkbox associated with one or more lists i.e selecting a list it is also possible to analyze a list, create a list specific segment, add contacts to an existing list, export a list, edit and delete a list. In case of large number of lists the search box allows to quickly identify the desired one with live results as you type.

Add Contacts

New Contacts can be added anytime by entering a list and selecting “Add Contacts” or also from the main dashboard, by ticking the checkbox associated to a list and choosing “Add Contacts” from the list options.  Here the three methods you can then choose from.

Double Opt-in

Double Opt is recommended to control your spam situation. A double opt-in email list is like any email based newsletter where users sign-up through the Internet on a webpage of the client .What makes an email list “double opt-in” is that a user who subscribes must confirm their request twice.

The first time is when the user uploads or adds email addresses to Pepo Campaigns via CVS file or manually and the email addresses get immediately subscribed. On selecting double opt-in,  Pepo Campaigns will send a special confirmation email to the email address added through API.  This is the second opt-in. The email contains a link which the recipient must click to confirm their subscription request. Once they have done this they have “double opted-in”.

Users who choose not to double opt-in will show as ‘pending user’ status. This status remains stable across lists and multiple double opt-in emails can be sent to the user.

Opt-in Email details i.e. default sender name and sender email address that the recipient will receive is updated in the account section.
